Dr. Michael Kane is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 35 years of experience treating mental health and substance use disorders. He completed his medical degree at Indiana University School of Medicine, followed by residency training in Psychiatry (1991) and Family Medicine (2000). For 20 years, he held dual board certification in both fields and now maintains certification exclusively in Psychiatry, aligning with his focus on behavioral health and addiction medicine.
As Chief Medical Officer of Indiana Center for Recovery, Dr. Kane oversees medical strategy and clinical operations across ten treatment facilities, leading the organization’s expansion from a single location to ten in just four years.
